The "RoboHerd"
RoboHerd's first FIRST season
Our 2015 season will kick off on January 3rd. This is the official beginning of the 6 week "robot build"
season. In that time, students will design the robot that will achieve the 2015 contest goals, build the
base robot, construct the contest attributes, wire the robot and then program the robot to function.
Teams of 3-5 students work collaboratively on each of the stages of construction. Students enhance
their skills in the areas of math, science, engineering, computer programming, marketing, and media as
they construct, with little mentor input, the fully functional robot.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to purchase the robot "kit" and materials for competitions and compete at
the Regionals in Duluth. We are searching for business partners to help us reach our goal. Please
